Can you help me with some info on this model 19?
It is a 19-2 and is 2.5" bbl.
I am not familiar with the this type of trigger and hammer, both appear to be gold plated.
Somewhere back 1999ish I was in market for a .38 snubbie, in the cabinet next to the Taurus 85 I was looking at was this 19 for $10 more.
It was a no brainer obviously. (Eventually got the Taurus also, quite enjoy it)

Gold Plate

I'm not a 100% sure, however I'm guessing it was not a factory option. Most likely plated later to give it more customized look and add some personal taste.

Thank you, pretty sure aftermarket. Combat hammer trigger combo is what a few others have advised. Makes sense why my wife loves it so much.
