    WTB: Firewood

Looking for about 1 face cord of wood, preferably split and average to decent quality wood. For those of you that don't know what a face cord is, figure about 8ft wide by 4ft tall and one log deep. Would prefer in the Elk Grove area, but really anywhere in Sacramento is cool.

What you're describing is half a cord. I just paid $275 for 1/2 cord of cut Almond. Burns clean, little smoke, is a hard wood so it radiated heat and burns slower than soft wood and smells nice.

I'm in the LA area so I couldn't help you out in Sacramento.

        I have 85 acres

of oak trees in Oroville. I have several trees that fell over last year which you can cut and take for a small price. PM me if interested.

There's a guy on craigslist who will do almond for 299 delivered and stacked for 1 cord. Seems to be a great deal.

Was hoping to spend a bit less than that, even though it'd last for more than one season. I've dug through craigslist a few times.
