WTB COLT PYTHON Los Angeles / Orange County area

Pretty simple looking for a colt Python. Doesn't have to be a safe queen. I will even take a project since I know a great gunsmith that I trust. Willing to pay a fair price depending on condition. Would just like to say I own a Colt Python. I'm in the long beach/ Los Angeles area. Will consider anything. PM directly if u have something. Thanks

I have a safe queen, in box. Very late serial number, one of the last made. I've shot a few wad cutters through it. Very nice royal blue finish. Very nice trigger. Not sure what its worth.

There's a Colt model 357 @ Ade's in Orange. The finish is a little rough but locks up really nice.

            Good luck with your search.

Yeah I saw it Monday when I picked up my Gold Cup from them but for the price no thanks. I'd expect something a lot nicer for that price tag. Thanks for the heads up. Also I picking up a model 357 on Saturday from turners. Already DROS'd just gotta pick up.

I've been looking for a shooter Python for a few months so if I'm in the area of a gun shop I'll stop in just because. The 357 had my interest so I did some research on it.

I agree, there are far better at the Ade's price. If you don't mind my asking what did the 357 set you back a Turners?

I'm trying to get a feel for the value in California.

700 plus tax and dros. So about 800 total. It has nicer bluing, a trigger job and some old school target grips. I'll pick it up Saturday first thing at 10 o'clock so I'll post pics soon after. Mine is a 6" I think. I don't even remember. I just DROS'd a 1966 4" Colt Python at lunch today so the wait begins for that also.
