They wholesale for about $600 and retail for about $700 plus tax if you can even find one... Haven't seen CZ retail for $600 even for a rami, standard 75 or 75c and I own 6 of them different models and calibers...mine is not for sale but I pulled my receipt and it cost $755 OTD. I know my buddy wouldn't sell it for $600 but the 97B is a sweet shooting pistol hope you find one good luck sorry I couldn't help

Kygunco.com usually has them for about $600. I'd call them and ask about what's in stock instead of going by website status.

Technically The 97B on the Kentucky Gun Co website is not on roster. Apparently in 2013 the 97B changed to thin aluminum grips and FO front sight, which warranted a stupid model code change. Now the same friggin gun is off roster. Only the 2012 and older 97B's are on roster. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'd be extremely happy to find out that I am!

Good luck getting Kentucky Gun to ship it to your FFL.

Even if kygunco shipped it, it's $621 for the gun, $25-$50 transfer fee, $45-$60 tax and $25 DROS. You're looking at $710-$760.

Good luck with your search OP, I'm on the hunt as well.

I'm not sure how that works but people are still getting them. Just like all the high cap Tactical Sports coming in without mags.

CZ still makes the CA compliant version of the 97B. Just different grips and front sight.

Talked to my FFL today about kygunco and ordering from them he said yeah right... They are not CA friendly even if it's an on roster here very hit and miss if they will ship to Ca... Won't even ship in for LEO.... And yes CZ does make a CA version of the pistol and as far as getting one with a SKU that is for a model not on roster (one with standard capacity mags) it depends on the FFL some do it and some do not that's all I can add about that Lead Pilot...Some suppliers black out SKU's and ship with no mags or 10 rounders because they are technically the same model pistol and DOJ doesn't need SKU's just Serial numbers, not really sure if that is ok I just heard that's how they get them here Since it's the same pistol just different mags

Unless things have changed recently, I've never had a problem buying from kygunco. Several family members and friends also bought without issue. I put in my credit card, picked my Cali ffl from their list, and dros'd a week later. Can't hurt to call. Good luck!

Yeah maybe I will call them direct and just pick an FFL from their list that might be the way to go. Thanks for the advice
