The get a Black Box "USMC" rollmark be prepared to pay up to 5 or 6 for a new one.

To get a blue box M45 with no rollmark and not from Colt custom shop, 2500-3k.

Non USMC rolled Colt Custom Shop M45 version around 3500-4k.

I got one of the first ones from a Marine who got lucky, since he knew the Colt rep who does displays for MARSOC dudes who were originally earmarked for those GOVT. M45's. My **** is the real civilian one, and one of the first ones sold. #Motivate

Just DROS'd my "USMC" O1070CQB NIB (Pelican w/shipping box) for $3900. in San Diego. GREAT DEAL!
Unfortunately I'm in Norcal. When you add round trip air fare (x2) and wife grief because I was on "Gun Restriction" at the time. It's still a FAIR DEAL. Add the cost of "grief relief" by combining the return trip with a romantic golf weekend in Socal. (I haven't been married for 30+ years by accident). Good woman! With all of the above........it turned out to be an OK DEAL.
But hey....I've got one and I'M HAPPY! (Still on gun restriction though)
            Good luck in your search!

Congrats and I will find one now, but I know I will pay
              .

Thanks for leaving it for me. In my experience, nice homes and good guns will only go up in value (eventually). You did it in the correct order. Nicely done. Best wishes in your new home.

I couldn't even let mine go for that. Only thing you see for sale these days are the blue box. Still thinking about getting a blue box to shoot.

I've got 3 available still for PPT in California. Last one sold for $5k+ and was a serial number in the 100s.

I have serial number 13! Comes with Colt letter certifying it was sold to an employee of Colt, this one is $7,500

Other 2 are serial numbers in the 6000 and are $5k each both have Colt authenticity letters.
