A small consulting firm located in Ventura California is seeking to fill a permanent, full-time, position for a technical editor. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency with the advanced features of Microsoft Word 2002 or later. Specific tasks include editing, formatting, and proofing the work of multiple authors on large, complex, environmental documents that contain extensive graphics and tables. Other tasks include general office support that is to be performed during regular working hours. Minimum qualifications are a college degree, extensive knowledge of MS Word, impeccable grammar, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
