    Head stamp R1M1 7.62 .............what is it?

      Not always, but yes most of the time. I have brass, that states LC 53, and all that I read it is 308. It is not, it appears to be converted to 243. All the measurements show it as being that. No one appears to be interested in buying it, but it is all primed and ready to go.

        With a lc53 headstamp it is more likely 06 brass unles it is marked 7.62 --
        How many and how much?

          Correct, but it has been changed over to 243. A 7.62 bullet will not even come close to fitting in the opening. I have tried, and the bullet is way bigger then the mouth. I have 40+ of them. Give me an idea what they are worth to you.

              Yes it's berdan, all my South African 7.62x51 has been berdan . Shine a light down the case & look for the 2 flash holes (berdan)... Boxer will have a single flash hole in the center.
