If you're not familiar with the LabRadar, these chronos use radar to measure speed, so they don't require any lighting, can be setup behind the firing line, and can give you velocities at varying lengths from the bench through to the target (within range). Several reviewers have compared them to traditional chronos and the magnetospeed, etc. and generally measure within +-2 FPS

I bought one of the units off Fizz, if anyone is on the fence, the deal is legit, it comes with the factory warranty and is priced currently cheaper than any other place.

The chrono works great and unlike the magentospeed, it works equally well for handgun or rifle and doesn't affect the grouping. It sits behind the line and weather doesn't affect performance.

Bonus is all the data is on the card in csv format so you can import it into excel. They have an app for android and ios that makes operating it even easier. If you reload it helps make short work of developing the optimal load for your guns.

Expensive? yes, but buy once, cry once.

A guy had one of these last weekend at Rahauges and we got to see it in action. He also let me friend test it out with his new custom Lapua he was breaking in.

That unit is legit, and I plan to pick one up. Every else seem to be following a MAP pricing, as I see them listed for $559.99.

He also had a different mount which he bought off of fleabay - looked like a much better design and was collapsible and more compact.

It's situational. You'll need to confirm with me at the time you plan on making the purchase, but for the 2 calgunners that have ordered/received I've been able to deliver at the price in the OP.
