6mm-250

Hi Dave. I've recently been given an old rifle, stamped "6mm 250". It has a Mouser action, and I'm assuming it's the 6mm International, aka 6 mm Walker. I've never reloaded before. It seems like these dies should make the round I need, I'm assuming from 22-250 brass. Or does this require the illusive 250-3000 Savage brass?

Also, will this crimp the bullet in place or will I need another tool (besides a press, scale, etc.)?

Chamber cast first to verify actual dimensions, the comparen to cartridge drawings....... Before you invest another penny in the rifle.

Nobody can say by a stamp, what the gunsmith did to the chamber. You will need to cast it first.

Cerrosafe, or chamber cast allow from rotometals, your kitchen stove, an old metal 1 cup measure. Plug bore with a wad of TP about 1 inch in front of throat, tear rifle down, pour till 3/4 full. All your care about is the throat, neck, shoulder dimensions.
