This is a genuine German pilot and paratrooper gravity knife that was issued to the German Armed Forces about 25 years ago.
These knives are hard to find, it is BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN ISSUED, watch out for low priced ones on the internet that are military surplus that were issued and abused. These are still in the factory paper wrapping.
The knife has an olive-drab handle and black metal parts with the exception of the spike and blade. The handle is marked BUND. The blade is marked OFW. This knife also has a marlin spike designed to wedge knots apart. Cost $80 asking $50
