1930's Large Swastika Marked , Fruit Box Label...New Price

I'lm selling a few items that have just been sitting around for years


A Fruit box lable from the '30's / This is an ORGINAL ,,, Not a repo.
It's almost like a cardboard .Maybe Posterboard ... Made by Union Litho Co. L.A.
The lable was for a brand of Pears from the San Bernardino Ca. area
These were glued onto the side of the old wooden fruit boxes
It measures 5 X 11 and is in Excellent shape / Would look nice in a frame
I have 2 of these to sell

Just so you know this is not the "Nazi" Swastika on this box. It is the Hindu Indian sign of enlightenment. Hence why the leftmost post is horizontal & not vertical.

O K ... Well the brand of fruit was called Swastika
It was from the San Berdo. area

These lables are from the '30's ,So everyone that made them are Long gone

so nobody to ask about the history of them

There is a citrus museum off if van bran and Victoria in riverside. Maybe they will give you more than your asking price for those labels since they are from riverside
