I've had this lift 3-1/2 years and it works great. I installed a heavy duty front wheel chock that is much stronger and safer than the original chock that came with the lift.
This is not just a bike lift, I use it as a multipurpose height adjustable work bench. I've used it for bikes, lawn equipment, engines, cleaning/working on guns, etc... It's perfect for dumping out a can of brass to sort/inspect because it has a lip that prevents brass from falling to the floor.
