Howdy, I've got a Savage .223, 12VBSS with a Sightron S2 scope mounted that I'd like to trade. I was cleaning out the safe getting ready to move and thought, this thing is gigantic (the rifle, not the safe). My safe is a built-in, so when the house goes, so goes the safe. I've only shot this rifle on 3 occasions, basically sighting in the scope at 50yds. I let my kids shoot some cans off a tree stump when we were camping, and that's it. She's a safe queen that aside from the dust, is a very nice rifle.
I do NOT want to sell her at this time, but am open to cool CalGuns type stuff we all want as a TRADE (a nice quiet inverter for camping (honda or yamaha), or maybe a large, older generator for the house, a good old safe for my new pad (if it'll fit), etc...) Don't need ammo, but might consider a solid AR. Not trying to waste anyone's time, just looking for a cool trade of comparable value (I reckon just over $1100). I'm not selling the scope separate from the rifle, either. If nothing tickles my fancy as far as a trade, I reckon I'll sell her at some point, though I'd really like a trade.
It has the 'wundhammer' style palm swell, fluted barrel, yada, yada. As you see it minus the case.
