Serial number puts rifle to be built round Nov 1943. So I'm sure it served in WWII. Stock looks beat up, park looks good, barrel looks dark, but very sharp rifling. I've replaced the recoil spring, will include 8 clips.
I was bought by my friend many many years ago, fired a few times, and put in the closet. He sold it to me a few years ago....I took it apart, cleaned it and replaced the recoil spring, then it went into my closet. I've never fired it, so don't know accuracy potential. Found I'm more a FN49 kinda guy....my loss, your gain.
