SOLD
Make: Swiss Karabiner 31
Model: 6 - round rifle made in 1951
Caliber: 7.5x55mm Swiss
Location (city or county): Santa Barbara
Will ship: rather not, but maybe
I've had this rifle for a few years, and as they say, it is really accurate. I shot it twice, maybe 60 rounds total. The rifle is very clean and shiny, and the whole thing is solid. The wood, of course, has some small chips like they all do because the Swiss used them to knock snow off their feet etc., and almost no one wants to sand the wood smooth. There is a soldier's name on a little piece of paper, of course, under the metal butt plate. Anyway, I need to thin my collection of guns. It's the only K31 I have and I will miss it. It comes with 5 stripper clips and a new leather strap. According to the number on its parts, it was made in 1951. I go to Los Angeles near the end of each month and might agree to meet a potential buyer, or from Goleta to parts of Ventura county more often. I also have A LOT OF AMMO for this rifle I would sell along with it for a good price. Here is a good place to read about this rifle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K31
