If it has Original (Matching) bolt it should have a original Spring loaded FP from factory (The 49-50 Russian SKS's had this feature and some early 51's as well )Comment

IIRC, the Izshvesk(Izmash) SKSs are the desirable ones as they produced less simonov rifles than Tula(TOZ), in fact only 2 years of known production in 53 and 54.Originally posted by AJAX22Anti gun BS...

Nice clean rifle. That box with the line though it under the Tula Symbol means it was redone at the factory at least once. Not sure if/how that effects the value.
