Selling a Verona LX502 Shotgun that is in great shape. A couple thousand rounds fired at the local sporting clays course, skeet field, and trap field. This is an awesome all around shotgun that can do it all for someone looking to get into skeet, trap, sporting clays, or hunting if you'd like (I never took it hunting, it was too pretty)
Locks up super tight, lever is still well right of center, wood is pretty and in nice shape as is the bluing. Has some nice engraving on the coin finished receiver and deep bluing on the barrel,. Selective trigger and ejectors.
Comes with the chokes listed:
1 Briley Extended Verona spectrum Cylinder
1 Briley Extended Verona spectrum Modified
1 XXFull extended Choke
1 Improved Cylinder
1 Skeet
1 X-Full
1 Full
1 Modified
1 Verona Choke tool
Comes in a nice and hardly used travel case, the chokes alone are worth well over $200.
Verona is owned by the italian company F.A.I.R which is a part of the world renowned Rizzini family. These shotguns were made for a brief amount of time and sold out extremely quickly. Now they are pretty hard to find. I bought this to use as an all around clay and sporting gun. Shot probably 1500 rounds through it at sporting clays, trap and skeet fields. It patterns great, extracts well, and is light and easy to swing with not a lot of recoil due to the Pachmayr recoil pad. LOP is 14 3/4" I believe.
Its really an awesome gun for anyone that doesn't want to drop $2000 to try their hand at the shotgun sports. I'm also going to be selling a nice Miroku trap/sporting gun one of these days. I just had my 3rd child and with working full time makes it hard to find the time to go to the range and practice.
Lots more info can be found at Shotgunworld . com and other resources on the net.
Please PM me with any questions, offers, requests for more information or pictures.
Thanks!
