It has a unique Coyote Tan finish on the receiver and barrel, and contrasting black furniture, including the adjustable butt stock. Mossberg's 500 pump-action shotguns offer an amazing amount of gun for an unbeatable price. First and foremost, the 500 is built to the same uncompromising mil-specs as the renowned Mossberg 590. Then a host of features are introduced: Quiet Carry dual-action bars, 3" chambers, and an ambidextrous safety, to name a few. Mossberg's revolutionary FLEX technology, which allows rapid, tool-less swapping of stocks, buttpads, forends, and even barrels. This Mossberg 500 features a 20" barrel and a 8 shell capacity. It is equipped with a pistol grip, and the foregrip has Picatinny rails for attaching tactical lights, laser sights, and vertical grips amongst other accessories, if desired. A front bead sight is installed, and the receiver is drilled and tapped. for easily installing a rear sight if required.
