this is my baby that i/gunsmith have put togeather. this rifle has been my primary target/range rifle because or the joy of shooting it and the price of the ammo. if you have ever fired a mosin you will know the pain involved. I'm not trying to be macho, if i go shooting i want to be comfortable. this rife is tame, not pain at all. my 15 year old brother can put 50 rounds down the hole without any discomfort.
so lets begin
it has:
-timney trigger system (adjustable, i set it to about 2.5lb)
-boys stock with additional pachmayr decelerator slip on pad (I'm keeping that)
-proper bedding of the receiver
-5/8-24 muzzle brake (removed a lot of the kick)
-custom scope mount with a weaver rail
-custom bolt with new ss spring
-free floating barrel
-barrel cut to 22" and crowned at 11'
-bipod
all to say this rifle is very fun and cheap to shoot!
the scope does not come with the rifle
i also have 7.62 x 54r ammo that i can sell separately if you are interested
