850 or trade for a like new scope for a 308

I purchased this rifle from a calgunner a month ago. Unbenounced to me, Santa had already purchased a rifle for me. This one will not get used so I figured I'd throw it up on the board again. I've dropped the price from what I purchased it for. The following is what the previous owner wrote in the add. The previous owner put 100 rounds through the rifle and I placed an additional 10 down the pipe.
"Rifle for sale is a heavy barrel Rem 700 sps varmint with custom accessories. It comes with a choate tactical stock, adjustable cheek piece, extended box magazine, harris swivel bi pod with the pod lock, a SWFA 12x42 MRAD scope mounted in weaver tactical rings on a weaver 20moa extended picatinny rail/base. The scope has a scope level too. The scope rings have been lapped and all other work was done by a professional gunsmith. Also included is a plano heavy duty rifle case (similiar to pelican). The rifle has been duracoated flat dark earth and needs to be touched up in a few places. The case has also been painted tan/od grn snake skin pattern".
Transfer has to be done through FFL.
If you have a like new scope of comparable monetary value, I might be open to a trade.
