Hi all, and happy holidays.
I have a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag, circa 1981, pre transfer bar safety, JM stamped, micro-groove, darn near mint. Original...I would call it 99% except for a minor safe ding or two. Never hunted, hardly shot if at all. I got this from a collector liquidating his collection and it has been in storage for over 30 years. A real time capsul piece.
Looking at the auction sites these go for $600+, and I am hoping to trade it. I am looking for Smith and Wesson kit guns, or 22 mag and 38 special j frames. Also interested in Anschutz 22's as well. + or - cash on either end of the deal...I am open also to a benelli m2 in 12 ga for hunting purposes or a remington semi auto in 28ga for my wife. I also have other trading stock as well as cash.
I am a shooter, not a collector, so this is going down the road. Thought I would try here before I list it one of the auction sites. FTF at an FFL of a reasonable distance from Los Angeles. I will drive for the right deal. Email for pics for serious inquiries...
