Barrel: 16" mil-spec steel barrel, chrome lined and chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a Mid-length gas system with a low-profile gas block. Medium profile barrel is proof tested, magnetic particle inspected, phosphate coated, and finished off with a pinned F-marked front sight post in the Rifle position with sling swivel, rifle length handguards, and A2 flash hider. Barrel is made for us by FN Manufacturing in Columbia SC.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring machined T marks, and a mil-spec finish. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer

IT'S A SHOOTER!

This custom AR-10 was built for long range shooting. It has only been fired 18 times. The barrel was swabbed after every round except the last five rounds. These were quick fired to test function. It performed perfectly.
It was completely cleaned after the session. It's in perfect condition. A super nice AR-10.

Here's a list of the rifles components:

JD Machine upper receiver and JD lower with a CMMG .308 lower parts kit.

I purchased a CMMG complete upper:

Sights/Gas Block: Low Profile Gas Block
Bolt Group: Mk3 Bolt Group
(The Hammer Forged Barrels offer distinct advantages over traditional barrel cutting. The process reduces the outer diameter of the barrel without removing material, making the barrel stronger and more rigid, at the same time as forming the interior rifling. This leaves a much cleaner and smother surface throughout the bore reducing projectile resistance and premature wear)
**I changed the barrel and all parts forward of the receiver over to the JD upper receiver so it fits perfectly with the JD lower and looks great**.

It has a Magpul PRS stock and Moe hand grip.
