I thought maybe somebody may be interested. I got this rifle recently and not even shot it yet (I believe previous owner put 20 rounds through it). I am just more into handguns....
The gun is in excellent condition (98-99%). It came from the factory as you see it, never had the scope, has iron sights instead. My understanding is they ran out of scopes and had a few rifles left so Ruger put iron sights on them and called them Edition II. This is a very collectible rifle as I have never seen another one like it. It is not listed in the Blue Book Of Gun Values. I do not have any box or paperwork for it. This is a very heavy rifle as the barrel is 28 inches long and the "D" weight.
I prefer local deal at e.g. Bullseye in Novato
I also would add 2 full boxes of 45-70 ammo (if local deal).
