Other info: also WTS Shephard Scope $300
Rifle and scope are in Like New condition. This is my first Target rifle; I'm mostly an AR shooter, not a "precision" shooter by any means, and I just never got into it. I bought it to try my hand at long range tactical shooting. I used it in one of my club's Long Range Tactical practice matches, but have not used it since. I put about 200 rounds through it. The rifle and scope combo are stupid easy to use. I've never shot farther than 500 yards before (I was in the Marines, but in the Air Wing
), and never shot this rifle past 300 yards. But I managed to get almost all of my rounds into the Black at 1,000 yards on my very first attempt, while other guys around me petered out at 800, missed the target entirely, and were dismissed from the match. With the Shepard scope, you zero at 100 yards, them aim points are given for each 100 yard increment up to 1,000. I found them to be spot-on. I was using Black Hills 175gr. Match ammo. Barrel is 26" long with 1/12 twist, and fully stabilized the heavy bullets all the way out to 1,000. The trigger is very nice. Stock is laminated/resin impregnated Grey/Black and is impervious to the elements. This is a great rifle/scope combo for AR guys who want to start hitting at very long distances. If you are out of area, you will have to walk me through the shipping process. Thanks for looking!
