*SOLD* RIA 1911 Tactical .45 + extras in Sacramento *SOLD**

    Make: Rock Island Armory

    Model: 1911 Tactical

    Caliber: .45acp

Location (city or county): Sacramento (willing to meet buyers from Tahoe/Bay Area part way)

    Price: SOLD

    Will ship (Y/N): No

    Other info:

I am absolutely in love with this 1911, but unfortunately it costs WAY too much to shoot for my income level (part-time work while in college). I am selling my baby to buy a Ruger Mark III .22 pistol from a friend so that I can actually enjoy my hobby at a reasonable price instead of watching my 1911 sit in it's safe.

I am the first owner (purchased fall 2012), the pistol has been absolutely flawless and is extremely accurate (more so than several of my friends' Kimber Custom IIs and my uncle's Remington 1911). The only issues I have ever had were with a Wilson Combat Magazine (47D) which gave me a failure to feed on the last round of the mag nearly every time. The other two magazines (one 8rd ACT mag that came with the pistol and one 8rd Chip McCormick Classic Series) have always run perfectly, and all three mags will be included in the sale. This particular RIA doesn't like the WC 47D but you may have another 1911 that it feeds well with, or you can give it to a buddy who uses 47Ds.

I replaced the factory recoil spring with a 16lb Wolff spring, the factory mainspring with a Wolff 23lb spring, and the factory firing pin spring with a Wolff extra strength firing pin spring. The sear spring currently installed is still the factory version, however I have a brand new Wolff sear spring that I will include if you want to install it yourself in the future. Note: the factory springs were not worn out... I just wanted to replace them with higher quality Wolff springs. Therefore I still have the factory springs and will include those in the sale as well so you have backup replacements.

This RIA Tactical came with the one-piece full-length guide rod and recoil spring plug, but I ordered a shorter GI-style guide rod and GI-style plug from RIA, which I will also include in the sale so you can decide if you want to go with the classic GI-style guide rod and plug, or the FLGR.

To recap all that is included in this sale:

-RIA Tactical 1911 in .45acp (with aftermarket Wolff recoil spring, mainspring, firing pin spring, and sear spring - along with the original springs)
-GI-style guide rod and recoil spring plug if you prefer the classic style
-hard plastic single-pistol case with small combo lock
    -one 8rd ACT mag
-one 8rd Chip McCormick Classic Series mag
-one Wilson Combat 47D mag (doesn't feed well in this pistol but is a very good quality mag)
-one right-handed FOBUS OWB polymer retention holster (with the attachment to put your belt through, not the clip-on kind)
-one right-handed GALCO leather IWB holster (clip-on)
-one cleaning rod with brass brush attachment and a 2nd attachment for running patches through the barrel
-extra thin Black polymer grips with a nice grippy texture (won't stick to clothes, but provides a good hold when you're sweaty)
    -original smooth wood grips
-Pierce rubber finger grooves (fit underneath the grips and provide rubber finger grooves on the front strap)

I will also include my left over 77rds of UMC .45acp FMJ ammo for an additional $20 ($0.26 per round).

This pistol has around 1000 rounds through it, has been cleaned immaculately at the range after every outing and has been babied like no other firearm I've ever owned. It is in the exact same condition as when I purchased it new just around 8 months ago. Other than replacing the springs, I have done ZERO work of any kind on this pistol, so buyers need not be worried about bubba gunsmithing gone bad. With all the extras I am including, I feel that an asking price of (*SOLD*) is very fair, but other offers will be considered (by PM).

Please PM me for any questions you may have. I'm having problems getting my camera to upload pictures onto my computer right now, but I can email pictures to serious buyers if desired.

    Thanks for looking!
