I have a Springfield 1911 GI .45 for sale in the San Diego area. I have had it sitting around for a while collecting dust so I figure I might as well sell it and buy something else.
I dehorned all sharp edges, fitted an Ed Brown MSH, trigger and had the front sight cut for Novak style and added a Fusion front sight .180. The ejection port has been lowered but not exaggerated. The hammer and grip safety have been bobbed for carry. The grips are in new condition. The only thing this pistol needs is to be finished with sand paper, blasted and refinished, or you can continue where I left off and build it to your own specs.
The barrel has maybe 50 rounds for function check when I first bought this so it is like new and it does not have the annoying loaded safety cut in the barrel hood either. The gun might print high or low since I haven't shot it with the new sights on and did not adjust them.
All internals, except trigger (original will be included) are like new and not modified in any way, The slide to frame fit is also stock. I just wanted a no frills pistol that was as close to stock as possible. Will include one Springfield Factory mag with gun.
Outside finish looks rough, but this gun has only fired 50 factory rounds. This is the last of my .45's, switched to 9mm pistols for more range time and cost since I don't have the time to reload.
Will sell for $xxx.xx cash obo. It's a good base gun for a build or leave it as-is for a trunk gun. PM me with any questions or offers. Thanks.
