Went to OC Armory after work today to check out the witness match elite... it is indeed factory new. Still in the oily blue bag. took it out and inspected. No scratches perfect condition.

Also, the high cap mag did make it there and Mike at OC Armory says it can be sold as a rebuild kit with acknowledgement from buyer that it is illegal to assemble in California.
