[/IMG]t condition and unfired.I did a tremendous amount of research on AR's and decided to purchase the Ruger because of its versatility and price compared to the competition. I definitely wanted an FDE rifle but none were available under $3000 on gunbroker or anywhere else. The Ruger gas piston system was the best in the business and Ruger spent a long time designing their proprietary piston system. The Ruger is obviously the best on the market for the money.
The FDE color is unheard of for the SR556 and this one is the only example in the US that I know about. The factory must have done this as an example for the Gun SHow in Dallas TX this year. As you can see, the bolt and carrier are hard chromed. The gun is definitely not anywhere close to stock. It includes a $300 Timney competition trigger which breaks at 2 pounds. This AR also includes a 170 lumen Streamlight and an upgraded 2-7 compact scope. Also included is a new set of offset iron sights and 5 30 round Isreali repair kits. The California Safety system includes a Mosterman Grip which takes the place of a bullet button so it's completely legal in California.
I have well over $3000 in this rifle and it's brand new without ever being to the range to fire.
