This is a very special, unique and hyper accurate .45 ACP 1911. It was cusom built using a Springfleld Armory NMC Serial numbered model stainless steel 4" slide and their officers sized stainless steel frame. It uses a 4" barrel/slide and has a very tight barrel/bushing lock up. It has an MMC adjustable rear sight and a fixed MMC front sight on it, It is currently configured with a one piece SS guide rod. Besides having all of the usual custom dehoning of any sharp edges, custom trigger work that breaks very crisply, reliability package, front cocking serrations, and top quality finishing done to it, the top portion of the stainless steel beavertail has been carefully and fully integrated into the SS frame itself. Only the lower portion of the SS beavertail moves inward to release the grip safety. This leaves your firing hand much higher on the bore line and in one fixed postion as you fire the handgun! This very custom handgun comes complete with a total of 4 stainless steel flush fit officers sized magazines. I am the second owner of this handgun so I can't verify the exact round count but it has to be very very low. I have never had any type of malfunction at all with the couple of hundred factory .45 ACP rounds that I have run through it. This pistol is not yet even fully broken in!
