New baby on the way so time to sell some guns...first up is my Handed down Walther PPK .32 I didn't know much about this gun in the beginning but it didnt take long on here for some very generous members to fill me in on what a true beauty I owned! Below is what the pros on here said about my grandfather in-laws PPK.

"You have a 7.65m/m caliber [.32 ACP] Walther PPK made in 1932 at the Walther factory when it was located in Zella-Mehlis(Thur). After WW II, Zella-Mehlis was in East Germany and Walther production moved to Ulm West Germany. The PPK has a 90 degree safety, Crown over N proof mark, the lanyard feature, the original wrap around brown grips, and two magazines [one with a brown finger rest]."

Ok do I researched what you meant by dural frame. This gun is in fact not dural frame. A magnet stuck to the frame...thanks for the question I learn something else about this gun.

I may be wrong on this and if I am please correct me. This nice Walther cannot be shpped to Calif. Its one of the "off roster" list of handguns by Calif DOJ. I was ready to purchase two Walther PPK's last year, however the seller resided out of state.
It may be shipped to an FFL but I dont think that can happen either. Dont mean to upset the apple cart, however I just wanted to make sure. It may qualify as C&R, however, C&R's for Calif 03 license people can only get long guns(rifles over 50yrs old) from out of state shipped to their door.
Again I may be totally wrong.

C&R pistols are exempt from the drop-list. Being that this was made in 1934, it should be fine. It would have to be shipped to an FFL to do the transfer though, as an 03 FFL cannot directly receive pistols in this state as you correctly stated.

Any gun, long gun or handgun can be transferred in CA if it is 50 years or older as a C&R by the 01 dealers. Although, one should first check ahead of time with the particular dealer to make sure they are willing to make the transfer.
