At one time, these revolvers were authorized by the LAPD for their officers to use for duty.

That makes me smile. That's when a man was a man and a revolver was adequate. The badge said "Policeman", there was another badge that said "Policewoman" and she carried her revolver in a department issued purse. Now we say that they are not just women anymore, they are people. So now we use the term "Police Officer" for everybody and the city is a safer place. Now a revolver is not adequate anymore because oftentimes, but not always, the "Police Officer" behind the gun is no longer adequate. I'm sure all those revolvers are "nuetered" to fire double action only.

I have an old Colt revolver for dress occasions with the leather gear.

Is your model 14 a six inch or four inch? If it is a 4 inch, consider it sold.

The model 14 is the blue 6 inch. (#2 in pic) I see its SPF. I'll be second if it does not work out.
