I would recommend the 2nd barrel as well. I have a LW 9mm barrrel for my G35. It works out well. GLWT

Since we're all hijacking ;-), it is unwise to use a 10mm barrel in a 45 pistol because the breech face of the 21 is designed for a 45 and the breech face on the 20 is dimensionally designed for a 10mm/40 (slightly smaller). They are in fact different guns. At least this is important if you intend to use the gun to save your keester at any point. This is also why you can't put a 21 barrel in a Glock 20.
