Beretta Tricentennial "1680-1980" Commemorative Model M1000, 12 ga. black powder muzzleloading percussion over/under shotgun. Mfg. 1980 in Italy. Appears unfired, new condition. Very rare and unusual shotgun for the famous Italian maker. One of only 300 guns produced in 1980. Very unique and showy looking piece! 30" over/under browned finished barrels with ramrod on right side. Hand-engraved lockplates, hammers, trigger guard and tang that are also nicely case-colored. Walnut stock with left cheek piece and case-colored buttplate. Two engraved and case-colored barrel bands. Light engraving on barrel and is marked: "1680 Pietro Beretta Gardone 1980". Unique three-piece forearm section that is beautifully done. Some light handling marks. Brass front bead sight.
I don't know if anyone is interested in blackpowder but this is a rare bird. Maybe someone here could make use of it. It has been in my dads safe for 15+ years unfired. These came in a wood case with accessories, but we don't have that only the shotgun. Gun is beautiful and looks new. Ive seen complete sets advertised for as high as $1800
I figure $1000 is fair. Maybe interested in C&R trade. =value M1? possibly
Blackpowder has no restrictions so it is cash and carry in Huntington Beach. I can get photos this weekend or I'll arrange a meet and greet.
