SPF WTS: World War II M1 Garand

    Make: Springfield Armory

    Model: M1

    Caliber: 30-06

    Location (city or county): Sacramento

    Price: SPF $1,100

Will ship (Y/N): Yes where legal

    Other info: WWII

Continuing to rearrange my collection so some priced rifles will have to go. This is a very nice WWII Garand. Bore is pristine mirror bright TE 2 MW 1. It is getting harder and harder to find a WWII Garand as collectors are buying up all they can.

This is a outstanding shooter and would be perfect for your local matches. I'm willing to let potential buyer shoot it at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center before buying.

      WWII would make it .30-06.

.308 Winchester was introduced in 1952 (two years prior to NATOs adoption of the 7,62x51mm cartridge)

Ask him to include his sombrero. Now that would be well worth it!

This is similar to the rifle that my grandfather carried in the pacific campaigns. I have to say that the wood and steel are GREAT looking. The rifle that my grand father carried in the ww2 and my great grandfather carried in "the war to end all wars" all have one thing in common - the GREAT 30.06 cartridge! Thank you for sharing this restored piece from our past.
