I absolutely hate putting this ad up. This is my favorite rifle. Going to be moving to a different house, and this is the only means of doing so. Sold everything of worth during my college years to pay the bills, and it has come down to this. Whoever buys this is going to be very happy. I WILL NOT PART THIS OUT. I NEED MONEY, AND TIME IS NOT MY FRIEND.

Comes with everything pictured, except for the table and other crap in the background obviously.
Here is a breakdown of what you will receive:
-1958 Romanian SKS with original stock, upper wood thingy, and sling. I have the bayonet, just forgot to put it in the picture. To my knowledge, every number matches on this rifle. ($400 is a deal for this alone!)
-Mounted on a Timbersmith thumbhole stock. This thing is like shaking hands with your best friend. Ultra sturdy, light weight, and fits the rifle like a dream. The groupings on this rifle went from minute of pizza box to minute of dangle (you can hit someone's balls at 100 yards...) (cost $170)
-SKS scout mount. You can remove the optic/red dot, and put it back on without re-zero'ing. This is awesome, because in order to clean the rifle, you have to take the optic/red dot off. This is by far the most efficient way of putting glass on your SKS. More info: http://scoutscopes.com/ (Cost $70)
-Sightmark Ultra Shot Pro etc etc etc...http://www.opticsplanet.com/sightmar...ies-75260.html This has only been mounted. I had to stop this build short of adding a cheek riser that would accomodate the extra height this thing produces, but to tell you the truth, I have been able to put my chin on top of the stock and produce repeatable target alignment without too much of a hassle. Again, unfired, just mounted. (cost $140 with shipping from opticsplanet)
-Simmons 4x32 HANDGUN scope http://www.opticsplanet.com/simmons-...gun-scope.html. Again, only have mounted this optic. Never fired. Comes with UTG QD rings. Now you have BOTH options for this beast. (cost $100 with shipping off of opticsplanet)
-SKS Techsights. Enough said. http://www.tech-sights.com/sks.htm. Mounted and never fired. (cost $70)
-Comes with original firing pin. This pin was replaced by the most badass pin out there: http://www.murraysguns.com/sksown.htm
-Hand made sling. I hate to see this go, but I can always make another one. Maybe you can't, so I'll throw it in the mix.
-200 rounds of assorted 7.62x39 ammunition. All of the ammo comes on stripper clips. Plus 4 extra.
-Original leaf sights
-ammo box
-shoot and sees
This SKS' safety lever snapped off when I was unaware of the system. The replacement can be found online for like $3, so don't try and low ball for that. There are not that many cosmetic blemishes on this system. The original stock does have some chunks in it, but it was a battle rifle, not a safe queen. The Timbersmith plus stock iron sights have proven themselves out to 200 yards with ease. I was hitting a pig silhouette at Angeles with this thing, and got some attention from fellow bench flies like myself. NOTE TO COLLECTORS: I had to remove the original dust cover bar in order to put the tech sights on, so that is gone. If you miss it, and don't want to use the techsights, you can always go online and get another one for about $8. Please don't tell me the worth of this mass produced rifle is riding on an unnumbered component.

In it's original form. Takes about 20 minutes to change it back to this configuration. THIS with a Blackhawk cheek riser and the scope would be very sweet.
As a Calgunner with zero negative feedback, I can assure you this SKS is one of the rare examples of how accurate the model can be. The Romanian model has a chrome lined barrel, and the internals look incredible. Bought this off of a fellow Calgunner, as well. I want to keep it in the family, but times are tough, so if I don't get any bights, this will go elsewhere.
I live in Eagle Rock CA. I work a LOT, but am available on Thursday all day if someone wants to make a short dance of this and pick it up. First "I'LL TAKE IT" followed by a PM is the winner.
I will gladly tear this rifle down to the raw frame to show you how new it is for its age. Any questions at all are welcomed, and I will stand by this firearm.
Cheers and happy hunting.
Mike
