    Romanian 1969 "Trainer" .22 LR - OC - Sold

Romanian 1969 "Trainer" .22 LR with two magazines and one Single Shot Adapter. One magazine is original to the rifle, and one is a reproduction. I purchased the single shot adapter, but never used it. The 3 position leaf site is complete and intact. Front sight is a post.

The rifle is located in Tustin, CA

FTF within Orange County please. Value of the rifle doesn't warrant shipping, but if you really must, shipping can be arranged for additional costs.

    $150 or make reasonable offer.

Here are some photos: The bluing is good, and the import marks are not obtrusive. The stock could use a refinish, and came with 2 area of blemishes. Both are pictured, one pair of storage dings on the right of the butt stock, and one cluster on the forearm. The one forearm ding may need a little filler, but most will sand/steam out.

    FAQs

    Here's some recent Q&A:

    Q: C&R?
A: No, this rifle is not specifically listed by the BATF by make/model, and it is dated 1978.

Q: Are there any Missing Parts?
A: The rifle is complete except for the cleaning kit and sling.

Q: Any pitting on the Metal?
A: The bluing is in good condition. There are some normal wear marks on the bolt. No pitting.

    Q: How's the trigger?
A: Trigger is good, for what it is. Compared to my Anschutz or Remington M37...pretty bad. Compared to my SKS, not too shabby. Feels a lot like a Glock. I would call it a military style 2 stage trigger, fairly long take-up, firm let-off, with some overtravel. I don't have a trigger pull gauge to test it's weight, but I would say probably in the 5-7 lb range for the second stage. First stage is long but light. Really easy to stage this trigger.

    Q: Round Count?
A: I don't have a firm number. I've put about 500 rounds thru it in the last 10 years I've owned it. Before that???

    Q: How's the Bore?
A: The bore is clean, lands bright, and sharp.
