Inland XB23 was presented to Colonel H.B. Sheets with no date or location of presentation.
Col Sheets was the commanding officer of the Boston Ordnance District. He was instrumental in sourcing factories or properties to build or convert to wartime production.
The Boston Ordnance district covered east side of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Vehicles and related parts, ball bearings, munitions.
