Selling my Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk I. I acquired this rifle in 2020, and it is in fair condition for a rifle of its age and history.
This was one of the Ethiopian imports from RTI that came in to the country in early 2020. I received one of the decidedly nicer models, and the bore, stock, and action are all in good shape and function fine. There are no cracks in the stock, though some good nicks and marks are present. There are some rack markings on the butt that look great. Like some Lee Enfields, it can be a little picky on ammo. The new production PPU is somewhat inconsistent but surplus ball ammo functions excellently. Also included will be 140 rounds of ammo, an original (though not to this rifle) ‘pigsticker’ bayonet, a reproduction sling, 2 snap caps, and a handful of charger clips. Looking for $500 OBO. I am located in Santa Rosa, but can travel around the Bay Area for the PPT on weekends.
