Just wondering why you are asking so much more than retail? I actually am pretty interested in getting a 226 in 9mm but why would i pay more than a new one for second hand? I am not trying to be an ***** or anything, just wondering if these guns have something to them that makes them more expensive than going to a store and buying a new one? Thanks!

Malmon thanks for the support but I’m going to give the guys the benefit of the doubt that their responses were not with malicious intent.

gil671/SoCalSig1911, the price is what it is for simple supply and demand economics. Currently I have the supply and time will tell if the demand is there. The TacOps are hard to get in CA and they are brand new one from Dec 2011 and one from Feb 2012. It took time, planning and travel for me to get these and I would want to recoup that expense. If you can get these cheaper somewhere else please do and I’m happy for you. IMHO I argue these are the best 226’s ever and everyone should upgrade to them.

I was asking an honest question with no malicious intent i assure you, and if anything your listing gets bumped up to the top for more people to see when we ask questions about the items for sale.

I have been looking for a nice 9mm Sig and was just comparing prices on impact guns and other sites and then saw your listing, and was just wondering if there was any other reason for the markup, thanks again for clearing it up and i will keep trying to find a deal or i may crack and send you an offer.

No malicious intention intended on my comment. Sorry if i came out that way buddy. Just surprised at the price and now that you explained why, i fully understand. Nearly threw up my fries when i saw the price earlier lol. Thanks for clarifying things. Again, sorry if i came out that way.

There's plenty of people who are rich and don't give a crap about the cost of a nice rare gun, so good on this guy for knowing simple economic theories. Looks like some people don't get the principal of supply and demand.

With that said, I wouldn;t pay that much, but others might, and apparently did.

I paid less for my P226 and it's been 3 months now and still no gun.
This deal is not that bad. It's more than retail but you get it right away. I would totally jump on this deal. You got to pay to play!

Does the TacOps have the beavertail etc, hard to see in the plastic.
I have MC Operator LNIB less than 50rds through it.
