    WTT: S&W 27-2 3.5" .357 Magnum

    WTT (want to trade)

Please read very carefully so you do not waste your time.

I have a high shooter grade 3.5” S&W model 27-2 that I would like to trade strait across for any of the following listed in order of prefference
    1) S&W model 610 or 610-1 with a 5" or 6.5" barrel
    2) S&W model of 1989 627
    3) S&W 1006
    4) Freedom Atms 97 in .357 magnum or .44 Special I realize I will have to throw in some cash on this one.

    What I have to offer:
A late N-prefix blued model 27-2, with the desirable 3.5” barrel.
    Wide target trigger
    Wide target hammer
    White outline rear sight
Customer made and custom fit English Walnut service grips
Original box, opened cleaning kit, wax paper

This revolver is in nice shape, the only major problem is an area of discoloration on the cylinder that is about 5-6mm in size, my guess is that someone got a spot of blood on it at some point, I tried to capture in the photo of the left side of the frame, it is just about the lowest stop notch visible. The recoil shield has a solid blueing so my guess is that these piece was played with more than fired. There are a few lines on the bluing but nothing that goes through it. Today I also noticed a light spot from where the target grips once rubbed the frame, you can also see this on the picture of the left side where the trigger guard meets the frame.

I purchased this second hand in Feb of 2006, I think I took it to the range twice since then and its just not my thing.

Located in the lower Peninsula, Santa Clara County, can meet at Imbert & Smithers, BAGV, Kerly’s or even Irvington arms, unless you want to meet at a range to try it out first J

I will NOT ship and at this point I have NO interest in selling for cash.

BTT, I was thinking about it, and I would also consider a S&W 1006 as a trade option.

I would also consider trading it for a Colt Delta Elite, 10mm stainless or Combat Elite as well as a Colt SAA in decent shape.
