I have a very nice S&W 617. I put 550 rounds of Mini Mags through it, cleaned it, and put it away. I got this as a replacement firearm from S&W 3 weeks ago. I had bought a model 63 for my son that they said was unrepairable. They had no 63's at the time, so I asked for a 617 6". I aleady have a 4" 617, and figured I'd get this to keep it company. I like the 4" better, and after shooting my autos, my son wants nothing to do with revolvers anymore. So I and am selling this to fund another project. This gun is very accurate and functions perfectly. I have a picture of a target I was shooting at 25 feet no rest. The gun has a nice tight cylinder gap set at .004" Keep in mind I'm not the best shot as my vision is not what it used to be. The gun shoots more accurate than I do. I'm in S. Pasadena. I will go as far as Ammo Bros Ceritos for the transfer, or around 30 miles.
