How do I tell? Where do I measure? Didn't know there was a difference

It would say SF on the frame.

I don't think the 1st gens had SF versions.

Nowhere, inside or outside that I can see does it say SF. The frame runs the entire length of the slide FWIW

Glock 20 didn't come in 1st gen, and the earliest were the 2nd generation which has no finger grooves and checkered backstrap.
If it is a 2nd gen, then it won't be a SF.

Good deal on a great gun and the 2nd gen are some ways nicer than the third without the finger grooves.

It's defiantly not a 3rd gen, it has the smooth grip. Thank you for the info
