If the lower is a registered banned lower then you can't sell it in CA
Will trade liquor/wine/beer for parts and accesories and ammo! PM me. Dont drink n shoot. Offer void where prohibited. Must be 21 or older, etc. etc.

the lower is a LAR-15, so before i put it up for sale i read this http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=141885 and it is my understanding that it is legal to sell in this configuration with it being an OLL

If this was purchased prior to the assault weapons ban and was registered as an assault weapon then it does not need a bullet button and cannot be sold here on the forums. If you purchased it after the ban and built it with a fixed magazine then it is NOT an assault weapon and can be sold here in a legal configuration.

before moving into the state i got military assault weapon permits for my weapons. while getting them i asked the lady at the DOJ who issued the permit about selling any of them and she told me is that all i need to do is make it into a legal status (bullet button or fixed mag) and just do the transfer paperwork and it will be good to go.

Hmm I would consult with a senior member her in the forums. Try posting the question in the rifles forum. They should know.

miraculously got a hold of the Bureau of Firearms section of the DOJ before closing and according to them (sherry carter) if at the time of sale it does not meet the criteria of being an assault weapon it is not classified as an assault weapon (even though there is a permit in my name saying it can be an assault weapon) so it can be transferred legally in california

i apologize about this for sale thread turning into a discussion but i did learn more about these laws then i ever wanted to know... if i do sale anything on here again i will leave out my permit information and just make it ca legal before i put it on here
