Remington 700 LTR in 308. Rifle has been outfitted with the following:
Original 20-inch barrel was professionally threaded with 5/8x24 pattern
Smith Enterprises Vortex flash hider
Bolt knob is upgraded with a tear-drop design
Harris bipod and a black M16 sling
Original HS Precision stock is unmodified (I feel that these rifles don't need to be bedded since the aluminum bedding block takes care of the accuracy)
Rifle has been fired about 200 rounds. It was consistently accurate for all loads I tested.
I have changed the scope setup from what is pictured. Now, the rifle wears a Leupold standard ring set with Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 scope with Butler Creek covers. Scope will be taken off for shipping so it does not get damaged.
