This is a 1977 Python 4" Serial 49XXX E This gun from all looks is unfired. The box is period correct, but not serial number matched. This gun has been Electro nickeled and had an action job.
One of my friend's did some research and told me that this gun probably was done by colt's custom shop which is why the gun has a correct colt box with all the factory paper work, but not the correct serial numbered box (it was most likely sent in without box and sent back with a new colt box with green stickers)
