I tried to take some close ups of the dings but my camera wont focus well enough. You can actually see the damage in the first picture. There is a "ding" on the top left corner of the "cylinder housing." The damage is to the frame in between the cylinder and the barrel. There is a similar mark but not as bad in the same spot on the other side of the frame. You can also see the flash lighting up the damaged area in the third picture. Its to the left of the barrel/chamber.
Its really not that bad, and Im sure some precise file and sandpaper work would clean it up well enough that nobody could ever tell.
On another note, I found the factory take down pin that comes with the Ruger. Its used to take the hammer/spring out for cleaning.
