This is a very nice condition FN49. I beleve it was probably restocked, reparkerized and ? It has some letters that I can't make out well on the front of the barrel, possibly csisi alb va. Stock is very good only a few small scratches. I don't know the type of wood, it has a plastic butt-plate. The barrel is good to very good, strong rifling, but a little dark. I beleve it would smooth out and be excellent with a few rounds of lapping compound. The bolt and action are very nice. This rifle shoots well and functions perfectly. I am not good with open sights so I can't comment on accuracy. I want $650.00. I realize this is more than some sell for. The ones that sell cheap are badly beat up. I am in the inland empire and would prefer to sell FTF, C&C, and of course it is C&R. (must have Ca. I.D.).
