DE's , baby and full size, are not that rare in California but people that have them tend to hang on to them. You either love them or don't. If you search this site I think you'll find they pop more often than you thought. If you need something larger than a 1911 forty-five in forty-five caliber this might be a good match for you. they come up on this site in both sizes and consigment in stores for less. I have three and two just from Calguns in the last three months.
