WTS Beretta Cougar 8040 -$450 San Jose

This is a Beretta Cougar 8040 (40 SW) Made in Italy
It is a good shooter. I was able to recently locate a model 8045 so I no longer need this one. It is in a really good condition, but not perfect (a few scratches) I am the second owner and have only fired 200 or 300 rounds through her over the years. I am located in San Jose and asking $450. Buyer must pay all fees associated with transfer, prefer local PPT. Includes 2 magazines

I know this is probably a stupid question.... but does Beretta not make the cougar anymore?? I have a 8045 that I bought back in 2000, and love it.

Beretta no longer makes the cougar. However the product line is now manufactured by stoeger http://www.stoegerindustries.com/fir...ger_cougar.php and the last time I checked none of the stoeger models where on the CA hand gun safe roster list (leo only for now)

I recently picked up a Beretta Cougar 8045 and just love it, which is why this one is for sell.
