SOLD: S&W M&P45 like new - Bay Area

Transaction details: PPT at Irvington Arms (Fremont) or Bay Area Gun Vault (Mountain View) preferred, but I will try another shop in the area if you have a good relationship with one and prefer to use them. Friday afternoons and Saturdays are best (both Irvington Arms and Bay Area Gun Vault are closed on Sundays). First "I'll take it" with follow-up PM gets it. Let me know if there are any details I missed.

    1.) S&W M&P45 full-size *SOLD*

-Original owner, bought new in April 2010
-HAS magazine disconnect safety, but can be disabled if you desire
    -NO internal lock
    -NO thumb safety
    -150 rounds fired, performed flawlessly
    -Standard sights
-Comes with two factory 10-round magazines
-The factory test round was fired Feb. 24, 2010; it's a very new gun
-Comes with the three interchangeable backstraps, original box and all papers, lock, orange chamber indicator, etc. You will get everything as I got it when I bought the gun new.

This gun is not eligible for the S&W rebate coupon.

*SOLD* Asking $SOLD. Buyer pays PPT fee. Your price out the door is less than what most stores retail them for before tax and DROS fee. No trades at this time.

Wiped it down with a silicone gun cloth before taking pictures, so it looks shiny/wet.

Holy $%&* man! This is a smokin deal! I already have this exact pistol and like it so much I considered buying another one for a second. However, I'll leave this one here for someone else to snatch up.

Meet the M&P from Smith & Wesson. Reinforced polymer chassis, superior ergonomics, ambidextrous controls, proven safety features. The new standard in reliabil

Why is yours going for more than the cost of a new one? Is there some upgrade I can't see or isn't disclosed?
Then go ahead and get the one from buds if you feel in the end you will have a better deal..... By the time you pay all the fees to get the thing into this state, possibly sales tax and dros, dealer fee, and shipping you will be a good $100.00 or more over the price he has this listed for...

              BUMP for a good deal!!!!!

I actually purchased this gun from Bud's. The local shops I frequent didn't have one at the time I wanted one so I had one shipped in. $564 is the cash price, it will come out to $586.92 if you pay with a CC and opt for shipping insurance. Add on your FFL's transfer fee along with DROS, and tax if your FFL charges it on inbound new guns shipped in from an out-of-state store, and you are just shy of $700, or a touch more. Most stores around here retail them at $635, before tax and DROS.

Next time the proper thing to do is PM the seller and ask about his price rather than publicly saying a new one can be had for less. It's a pretty obvious thread crap, if you don't like his price, don't buy it. It's that simple.

Any time you start a thread with "Im not trying to be an Azz here" you pretty much state your intention.

Don't stress too much about it. We just have a strong tradition of mutual respect and forum etiquette on this board (which is a good thing) and sometimes it takes a post like that to learn how we do things here. We would do the same for you.
